This presentation will teach you the basics of digital cameras and digital photography. Attendees will learn how to take a crisp, clear photograph every time and how to enlarge a photograph on the computer. You will learn what JPG, GIF, and TIF files are and why image file formats are so important. Come learn some basic tips and tricks to shooting memorable, good quality photographs with your digital camera.
The presenter, Paul Fontaine, is the Store Manager at Hunts Photo & Video in Providence. He is self-taught and enjoys photography as an intense hobby.

A three member panel will lead the discussion on energy conservation, recycling and making your business “earth friendly.” Learn techniques for improving energy efficiency in your home and business, simple steps you can take to be a greener business and why being green will save you money.
Panel members include: Vin Graziano, the Chief Executive Officer of RISE Engineering; Alyson Silva, Engineer and Commercial Recycling Coordinator of the RI DEM; and Gerra Harrigan, the Director of Business Development of New Harvest Coffee Roasters.
This program is free and open to all and geared to small or home-based business owners and those just thinking about starting their own business. No registration is required.
