August is Extraordinary at the Weaver Library!

Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., East Providence, RI, 02914 presents three fascinating programs for the month of August. Ignite your imagination and join us on Monday evenings for the following presentations:

August 4 Jurassic Park: There Are Bones to Pick
7PM

Barrington resident Allan Klepper has stories to tell, slides to share, and 100 million year old fossils to display! His illustrated travel presentation focuses on the fun of participating in dinosaur digs with expert paleontologists!


August 18 Golden Wings and Hairy Toes: Encounters with New
7PM England’s Most Imperiled Wildlife

Natural history writer Todd McLeish profiles New England’s rare and endangered flora and fauna in his new book Golden Wings and Hairy Toes. McLeish’s first-hand account speaks of trapping bats and lynx, being attacked by marauding birds, and observing the metamorphosis of dragonflies, among other wildlife adventures. Books will be available for purchase and signing.


August 25 Paranormal Realities with Keith & Sandra Johnson
6:30PM

Looking for something extraordinary to do? Keith Johnson, founder of the organization New England Anomalies Research (N.E.A.R.) presents his experiences as a paranormal investigator. Keith and Sandra Johnson will discuss orbs, apparitions, EVPs (electronic voice phenomena,) and demonology. Hear EVP and see video from actual investigations! (Please note the 6:30PM start time for this program.)
