Learn from a business owner whose business has survived a disaster! The presenter will share tips on how a small business owner can prepare for, survive and even recover from a disaster. She will discuss insurance, finances, and maintaining your mental stability under the stress of a disaster. The presenter, Pat Ryan, is the owner of Ryco Trimming Company & Creative Sewing Center located near the Blackstone River in Lincoln, RI. She started her business in 1984 and on October 15, 2005 a flood brought 30 inches of water inside the building. What took 23 years to build was destroyed in 8 hours.
