Next Monday night (May 7, 2007) at 7pm, Weaver Library hosts "The History of Buttons".

• Textile historian and University of Rhode Island scholar Dr. Margaret Ordoñez will examine the history of buttons, displaying many fascinating examples from the URI Historic Textile and Costume Collection. Audience members are encouraged to bring in their old, unique, or sentimental buttons. Read about Dr. Ordoñez!
